This is a demonstration using periodic police workbook deliveries, not a complete crash inventory.
The police workbooks do not provide event type or severity. UDOT crash records provide additional fields; those values apply only to their source record unless a cross-source identity is verified.
Locations were matched from provider descriptions and are approximate. Records without an accepted location are omitted from the map.
Dots stay at their approximate coordinates and may overlap. Use zoom and filters to explore nearby records. Panning and zooming out are limited to the Utah County area, not an exact county-boundary outline. No conclusion about relative danger should be drawn from these points alone.
UDOT-only records have no linked local police record in this dataset. That does not establish that a police report does not exist. Police dates are labeled Date of Report and may differ from occurrence time. The state portal includes a combined category for wheelchairs, skaters, and other personal conveyances. Exact mode classifications vary by source and year.
